Hydraulics

We Do so much more than crimp and change hydrauliclines.

Hydraulic Cylinder Rebuilding — Single Day Service

Most of the times we can yank your cylinder, pull it apart at the job site, slam the gland nut apart, replace the seals, and using a torque multiplier, torches, and air, resemble the beast, reinstall and usually you are leak free and ready to go by the next morning.

Hydraulic Kidney Loop Tank Filtering

Large 50-to-500-gallon hydraulic tanks hold thousands of dollars’ worth of fluid. It’s simply too expensive to replace when normal contamination of water and metal debris cycles in.  Kidney loop filtering or polishing is the answer.  Within 24–48 hours, your fluid is clear, clean, and water free!!!

Leaking Hydraulic Lines in Telescopic Handler, Telehandler, Long Reach Forklift, Gradall

In the field, we change out long run hydraulic lines for telescoping forklifts. 1 day replacement service for three boom, 2–3 day service for 4–5 boom. Nothing worse than lifting a stack of 2x4’s to the fourth floor of a build and have your equipment drip all over the job and even on your head.

Hydraulic Power Loss and Hydraulic Speed Loss

Lacking hydraulic power and speed?  We diagnose for worn pressure relief circuits, broken relief springs, broken swash plates, spool valve leaks, restricted hydraulic fluid flow, faulty pilot signals, bypassing cylinders and pumps, faulty pressure and temperature sensors, unbalanced circuits etc.. Leaking hydraulic pumps ad hydraulic motors

Hydraulic Line Replacement for split, cracked, cut, worn hydraulic lines

Our bread-and-butter work.  No hydraulic line is too difficult to replace.  We are able to snake lines through the toughest of spots. We work with all the popular hose fittings JIC, NPT, SAE, ORF, ORB, DIN Metric, BSPP, UNF, SAE Straight, Metric Straight, Code 61 Flange Head, Code 62 Flange Head…

Welding, Fabricating and Setting Up of Hydraulic Systems from Single Line to Whole Pieces of Equipment to Factory Floors

We can clean up your rats nest of dangling hydraulic lines,  as well we provide welding and fabrication services used to sett up new pathways of line routing and insulator points. Pump Rooms, Recycling Processing Facilities, Car Carriers, Drill Rigs, Mining Rigs, and basically anything hydraulic!!

Seized & Rusted Hydraulic Cylinder Pin Removal

Are you struggling with a seized cylinder pin?  We have developed a very efficient process of blowing out the seized, knarled, rusted cylinder pin without destroying the cylinder, yoke, or equipment.  Lots of water, fire, air used together to get that thing out.  For those who have struggled know!!

If all you need is a hydraulic line crimped and installed we are into it. We have done many small jobs on Skid Steers, HWH Leveling Jacks & Slide Outs, Steering / Hydraboost Braking Systems all the way up to 40 foot runs through internal boxed frames on car-carriers, 50 to 70 foot runs on double knuckled fiberglass booms for Bucket Trucks and even weaved lines through a labyrinth curtain wall of hydraulic hoses for cave burrowing /drill rigs.  We’re into it.  But there is a lot more to hydraulics and we offer the full line of services.

Three of our service trucks are equipped with identical $5000 hydraulic test kits.  The team at Mobile Diesel Medic will diagnose leaking spool valves, sticky pressure relief valves, defective magnetic coil packs, worn hydraulic pumps, problematic PTO engagements, slipping Mico brakes, broken power unit shaft couplers, pulse width modulated constant flow Japanese hydraulic boom lift systems etc, etc…

We have the capability to dial in pilot signals for all hydraulic controls, pressure relief points for multistage hydraulic systems.

If you have a contaminated hydraulic system on a large capacity application, instead of wasting thousands of dollars replacing the fluid, let Mobile Diesel Medic Kidney Loop your system.  We will set up a 2 micron filtration loop and get all metal, dirt, water out of all components all the way to the extremities of the lines and cylinders.  At the end of the day the fluid will be polished and ready to get back to work.

IN THE FIELD we have rebuilt cylinders on yard goats, scissor lifts, forklifts, end dumps, boom lifts, production hydraulic presses, assembly line equipment, etc… and got the equipment up and running by the end of the day.

IN THE FIELD  we have disassembled multi-stack spool valve control blocks, resealed the leaky units and got the equipment running the same day.

IN THE FIELD we have pulled PTO’s, dead man brake components, hydraulic motors, resealed and rebuilt them and got them reinstalled in the equipment by the evening.

We at Mobile Diesel Medic only do mobile and therefore take very very serious in performing real repairs in the field and not the “band-aid” mobile repair.  This means we stock a ridiculous amount of consumables and seals in all our service trucks and make every effort to get your equipment up and running whenever possible on the same day.  Please give our service a try.

There is no risk to your wallet using our team of technicians.  We proudly honor our no risk 20 year policy of not charging the customer if we can’t diagnose your hydraulic problems.  But in the end we always are able to diagnose, repair, and get-er-done.
