“I recent­ly con­tract­ed Mobile Diesel Medic to inspect a truck in Hay­ward (far away) for me before I pur­chased it for my busi­ness. “We have a small fleet of sev­en mov­ing trucks that Mobile Diesel Medic has main­tained for ten years. We fig­ure they have per­formed over a hun­dred oil changes, plus all our repair work, and box repair and weld­ing (some­times three in the morn­ing). When updat­ing our fleet there was some con­cern we would start hav­ing to schlep our trucks over the Bay Bridge and go to the deal­er. “Amer­i­can Med­ical Response oper­ates a fleet of emer­gency ambu­lances in San Fran­cis­co for the 911 sys­tem as well as local hos­pi­tals, nurs­ing facil­i­ties etc. Our in-house main­te­nance is sit­u­at­ed 15 miles away at anoth­er site. Mobile Diesel Medic has saved us at least 5 times over the last 2 years by pro­vid­ing a quick response to diag­nose and repair sud­den vehi­cle fail­ures, pro­vide pre­ven­tive main­te­nance between shifts and, on one occa­sion, diag­nose and repair a com­pli­cat­ed elec­tri­cal fault in an ambu­lance body that had elud­ed every­one else.
